“Free Men Flying In Hieronymus Bosch Hell”

“Hommes libres volant dans l’Enfer de Jérome Bosch”

Description:  After Hieronymus’s painting: in  ”Hell” originally a naked man is already looking down with a demon’s hand on him (left) and in the sky creatures are flying: huge fishes and an enormous insect… while a crow on a black rock looks around and a man is in a lake… I added free men happy and flying in this environment:  a man is kissing the shoulder of his lover, they are standing up on the right of the painting. Two other naked men are playing, laughing, while in the back against a dark rock with a tree a young man is smiling, and another naked man is… flying or jumping from the upside right in the lake etc. a lot of details…

D’après “L’Enfer” de Jérome Bosch (15e siècle) un jeune homme nu pensif du peintre originalement dans la peinture, point de départ du tableau… un démon l’agrippe sur la gauche, des monstres, poissons immenses et insectes énormes volent dans un ciel en feu… j’y ai introduit des “hommes libres” heureux: deux hommes enlacés dont un embrasssant l’autre sur l’épaule debout mais comme couchés dans un lit, deux hommes nus qui s’amusent à lutter en riant, un autre jeune homme souriant contre un rocher sombre avec un arbre sur la gauche et un dernier homme sautant, comme volant vers le lac… beaucoup de détails…

Description:  Six naked young men in countryside: two in the front are holding the hand of the other inviting him to stand up. Another (left) has his head up towards the sky and his body bowing toward the back. Another is sitting down his hand on his arm, looking the grass. Another stands up holding a fork in the grass. Another one is sitting on his knees, his two hands on his head.

Six jeunes hommes nus dans un champs à la campagne : deux d’entre eux sont de face devant nous, ils se tiennent la main l’un debout l’autre couché dans l’herbe. Un autre sur la gauche en premier plan penche la tête vers l’arrière. Un autre assis dans l’herbe pose sa main sur son bras et regarde dans l’herbe pensif. Un autre se tient à une fourche planté dans l’herbe, vu de dos. Un autre assis à genoux se tient la tête, les genoux écartés…

Description:  Three naked young men at Navone Square in Rome: two are in the basin; one lying into water seems to sleep while the other looks and touches him at his feet ; another one arrives by bicycle on the left… The Caledrari Fountain with its statues in the background and the dark red obelisk on thee upside right… It’s a sunny days making everything white…Trois hommes nus sur la place Navone à Rome: deux d’entre eux sont dans la fontaine de Caledari avec ses statues au fond. L’un des deux regarde l’autre qui est couché semblant dormir à ses pieds. Il le touche du bout des doigts… un troisième jeune homme arrive sur un vélo par la gauche. c’est un jour ensoleillé, tout est blanc…

Trois jeunes hommes assis à côté de Lisbonne: un est assis appuyé contre le mur de la statue de Vasco da Gamma, un autre est couché près d’un chat et il dort et un troisième, vu de dos regarde l’horizon où se trouvent le Christ et le pont rouge.

Deux jeunes hommees nus se font face devant un paysage dévasté et en feu : l’Enfer (d’après Jérome Bosch “La descente aux Limbes de Christ”). Un troisième homme nu se déhanche tandis qu’un lézard essaie de le mordre. Une maison en forme de gigantesque visage au centre du décor…

Description: Three naked men are in a the famous Hieronymus Bosch’s painting called ”The Garden of Earthly Delights” (right panel/detail: Hell). Two are lying. One in the air his hands on his chest, the other in front of the open door of Hell where light is enlghting the queue of men waiting to enter… A third naked young man is looking the watcher, smiling, the blue light of the door envelops him. He sits down a hand on his hand the other hand on his leg. Bird on the upper right. City all around…

Trois hommes nus dans le célèbre tableau de Hieronymus Bosch : “Le Jardin des Délices” (paneau droit, détail: l’Enfer). Deux d’entre eux sont couché, l’un sur le dos dans les airs ses mains croisées sur la poitrine, l’autre sur le ventre regarde la porte ouverte de l’Enfer d’où sort une lumière qui éclaire une vaste queuue de gens attendant à l’entrée… un trpoisième jeune homme nu est assis et il nous regarde. La lumière bleue de la porte l’enveloppe. Une de ses mains sur le front, l’autre sur la cheville. Un épervier doré en haut à droite. La ville tout autour…

Deux hommes nus au fond d’une forêt vont et viennent d’une cabane construite dans un arbre. le premier nous fait face et se tient aux cordes bleues de la passerelle qui mène à la cabane. Le second de dos va vers la porte en se tenant aux cordes.
